Mimi’s parents are leaving for the market. Mimi informs her parents that Mimi is unable to tie her shoe laces and she wishes that her parents should help her. Her mother ties her shoe laces. They leave for the market with her parents. When they returned back after purchases of food items, she told her parents that she wishes to share a secret. Mimi took her parents to her room and showed them a painting made by her on the bed sheet. Her parents appreciated her painting. The cut the painting and placed it on the wall over her bed. All were happy. Mimi went out of her house, changed her dress and wore her clothes. She rang the bell. Mimi’s mother opened the door and let Mimi enter. Message from the story is that children always have something to share with their parents. Parents must find way to continue the conversation so as to understand the needs of a growing child.
